Incredibly welcoming staff with great coffee! The espresso-based drinks are offered in more sizes than traditionally made. This cafe was built on the old Young’s stationary and then Young’s Ice-cream building and they’ve kept the stained glass to a nice effect. They open earlier than nearly every cafe in Redwood City with decent coffee and close later as well. The matcha latte is my favorite drink here! One area of improvement that really separates some cafes apart is the drip coffee : I’ve been told that only medium/dark roasts are offered here.

Lovely coffee shop in downtown RWC with lovely outdoor seatings. There are lots of tables in a shaded area on the sidewalk and the vibe is really relaxing and open, love it! More seats inside as well if you prefer a quieter environment. I had a cappuccino and a banana chocolate muffin. The coffee was just ok but I appreciate that the barista waited until I came back from the bathroom to pour the milk for my coffee so it was served hot. The banana chocolate muffin was pretty good.

Great coffee shop and coffee roaster located in downtown Redwood city serving a variety of snacks, coffee drinks, and roasted coffee. Definitely recommended to visit for a while or just to pick up roasted fresh coffee. [The Store] The shop here is beautifully designed and impeccably clean. We loved the artwork, layout of the building, and the outside appearance. They have plenty of places to sit both inside and outside on the street. If you're looking to just spend an afternoon working or reading and people watching, this is a great spot. [The Coffee] We came here to buy some freshly roasted coffee and we were not disappointed. The coffee was roasted only 3 days ago. They have a variety of different beans from different areas including Colombia, Africa, and others. We tried the coffee this morning and it was excellent! Expect to pay around 18 dollars for a bag of coffee. [The Service] Excellent service here. The gentlemen that served us was super knowledgable, friendly, and attentive! We didn't wait in line and we had no complaints. Just a great experience.

Coffee Bar on Broadway is the place you’re looking for. The space is filled with beautiful local artwork and has a warm, welcoming vibe. Super friendly staff, too. Great spot to relax or catch up with a friend. I had an oat iced caramel latte, perfectly balanced and smooth. Thanks! -Anthonyxibarrax

We came right when they were closing but the nice gentlemen let us order! We heard about their lavender latte and I’m glad we got the chance to try it! It was the best! The lavender was subtle but delicious with a bit of sugar sprinkled on top.

A Perfect Spot for Coffee, Conversations, and Creativity! The atmosphere is artistic and inviting, with an open layout and high ceilings that create a spacious and relaxed vibe. Whether you’re looking to work, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a quiet moment with a great cup of coffee, this place delivers. The service was fantastic—warm, personable, and attentive. The food was delicious, and the coffee? Even better. You can tell they put care into every cup. Plus, the restrooms were clean, which is always a positive for me! There’s street parking available for about $2 per hour, so keep that in mind when visiting. Overall, I highly recommend Coffeebar for anyone looking for a quality café experience in Redwood. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Interesting coffee shop. Really like the unique decor. Friendly staff. Had an iced mocha that was very smooth and the right balance of chocolate. Will definitely be back.

great lattes, not too sweet like some national brands. Have been getting a caramel oat latte, which is an unusual treat allowance. Yum. Donut holes too but not this time. Cool place with great latte artists.

Stopped by Coffee Bar and this place delivers. The mocha was easily one of the best I’ve had rich, smooth and perfectly balanced between chocolate and espresso. Not overly sweet, not bitter, just dialed in. The latte art (see photos) was clean, but more importantly, the taste backed it up. The space itself has a great vibe too, clean, modern inside with a solid menu, and the outdoor seating along the street makes it a good spot to just sit and enjoy your coffee. You can see the setup and menu in the photos, everything feels well thought out. If you’re anywhere near downtown Redwood City and want a legit mocha, this is the spot. I’ll be back.
